Winter finally came. Well at least this weekend. The buzz started sometime Tuesday that snow would come by Friday. Well better yet, it waited until show time to blast. Fortunately for me, Ken Golden and I pre-recorded our tribute to the Women Of Progressive Rock. The show went swimmingly besides the 'thunder snow' outside that dropped 4 inches in 2 hours. Our peak came during the second hour while we aired the music of Frumpy. We paid tribute to Dr. James Still tonight in our History Of Southern New Jersey segment. A perfect fit for Black History Month as well. It was a disaster driving home at 2AM. The roads stunk out loud and 4 wheel did nothing. Well a little...then again you could have had 6 wheel drive and it wouldn't have done anything. One thing that is great is driving through the bypass in Pemberton as the snow flies head on into the windshield and it slowly becomes hypnotizing. Unfortunately, I had to stop the Jeep several times to get the ice off the wipers. It was nasty. Nice to come home to a warm bed. This program ran 4 hours and 10 minutes and is ranked 4th in listenership this year so far.
