5/14/05, 65°F.
Technology turned on us tonight for our 900th program. This marked the first time in many years we didn't do something 'commemorative' for a milestone program. And the prog gods may have been disappointed because our sever at the station with the live feed to the internet went down. Once again, Jaffa, our IT dude, with a big 'S' on his shirt, flew in and saved the night. After 3 tries..we were back online and through Aural Moon by 11:15pm. I affectionately refer to this program as Attack Of The Double CD's. Cuneiform was our highlight featuring all of the new May 10th releases. We featured Radio Massacre International, Present, John Surman, Graham Collier, and Miriodor. Along with the new Kayak, Gentle Giant remasters, Pierre Vervloesem, and the biggie we featured in the first and fourth hour, Van Der Graaf Generator's new Present double CD. We also featured our interview with guitarist Fareed Haque and unfortunately was only heard by our tri-state audience in the first half. By the second half we were back online and featured cuts from the new album cause Cosmic Hug. Tonight's program ran 4 hours and 2 minutes.
