Tonight was our return to regular programming after our vacation to Boston. The rest of the week following the trip was filled by catching up, and getting back in line. I am now re-energized.
Tonight’s program was 90% new music. Once and a while we get so much decent new music, there is no choice but to get it out before most will. Tonight we featured the excellent Japanese fusion band New Order and their forthcoming album LIVE-POWERED NEXUS. Recorded live in one mix, these guys were truly a pleasant surprise. They were our first surge in the first hour. Another multiude of listeners joined us to hear the new, long awaited disc from Advent. Their new one is titled Cantus Firmus, and clearly had the biggest impact. No doubt this disc will climb in the weekly Top 20. Another big buzz tonight was the new French TV titled This Is What We Do. Here’s another great disc with an excellent sense humor from the boys in Kentucky. A band that has always been a major piece of our foundation in the late 90's. The new Terje Rypdal 'Vossabrygg' is just an excellent album all the way around. We featured the interview with David Gilmour on his new album On An Island. David sounded great. Happy. Finally doing what he wanted to do. Aziola Cry and the new Bruford World Drummer's Ensemble was a hit as well.
Must sleep.

This Program Ran 4 Hours and 3 Minutes
